The internet is buzzing with a viral video featuring Vicky Kaushal and Salman Khan, which captured a moment of chaos during the IIFA Awards 2023 press conference in Abu Dhabi. The footage shows Khan’s bodyguards forcefully pushing Kaushal as he attempted to meet the renowned actor.
This incident comes as no surprise, given the heightened security around Salman Khan due to the numerous death threats he has received in recent months.

Vicky Kaushal addressed the incident during an interview at the IIFA Rocks 2023 event, held the following day on the Green Carpet. He downplayed the incident, stating, “Sometimes things get blown out of proportion, and unnecessary chatter surrounds them. There’s no point in dwelling on it.
The reality may differ from what the video suggests. It’s pointless to keep discussing it.” In another video shared by film critic Rohit Khilnani on Instagram, Salman, and Vicky are seen hugging each other, indicating that any tensions between them have been resolved.
While Vicky is set to host the main awards night alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Salman is gearing up to deliver a captivating performance alongside several other celebrities on Saturday.
Shifting the focus to their respective projects, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the upcoming romantic comedy “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” sharing the screen with Sara Ali Khan for the first time.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 2. On the other hand, Salman Khan has his sights set on “Tiger 3,” the highly anticipated third installment in the Tiger franchise, which is slated to hit the screens this Diwali.
Notably, Katrina Kaif, Vicky’s wife and Salman’s former partner, will also reprise her role as Zoya in the Maneesh Sharma-directed film, marking a continuation of the YRF Spy Universe after “Pathaan.”
