The evening bridal showcase was opened by a solo show featuring Faraz Manan who showcased his bridal collection ‘AlHambra’ collection at PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week.
In collaboration with Shazia Deen of Neemar for jewellery pieces, the collection is an amalgamation of East and the West and takes its inspiration from the majestic beauty of Granada and the spectacular fortress built by the Nasrid dynasty in the 13th century in Europe. Staying true to designer’s signature style, the collection featured forty pieces including select menswear pieces.
For the collection European fabrics such as organza, nets have been fused with rich jamawars from the East. The color palette for the collection is also signature designer colors including blush, sandstone, terra cotta, jewel tones mainly inspired by the colors and architecture of Alhambra itself. The silhouettes for the collection are more structured and tailored reflecting the grandeur of Arabia and modesty of Arab Culture.
L’Orel Paris Local Spokesperson and supermodel Mehreen Syed walked the ramp as a celebrity showstopper.
“I’m super excited to be showcasing again in my city with my fashion fraternity in a solo show at the platform of PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week.” said Faraz Manan
